where do you find the flasher on a 1998 lincoln town car?

the flasher has stopped working although the lights come on they do not flash. Where is the flasher and how do you replace it.

to locate it under the dash but I see nothing

Hello

If it's not on the fuse block try this

Turn the key to assy and have someone put the turn signal on and off for you, you should here a click to locate it

The flasher will look cigar shaped shaped 1 inch in diameter or so have 2 or 3 prongs coming out of it

I have the flasher it is square not round. It is located under the dash but I can not find access.
