i have a 1995 lincoln towncar, car would not start at any given time, first they said it was the battery,(had it replaced )then when it happened again they said it was the alternator(had it replaced) then when it happened again they said it was the ignition switch(had that replace) i even bought a jump starter thing to carry in my trunk cuz initially i too thought it could be the battery, but come on now when all these parts have been replaced not to mention the labor they charged me and the fact that problem still exists and the fact that the car does not even start with a jump! i usually just sit for no more than 10 minutes and ill try again and then eventually it starts, how it sounds when i first try to start is basically the same as normal except kind of like if its flooded(you know how like if you run out of gas and keep trying and trying hoping youll have enough gas to start it but you end up flooding it?)but trust me there always is gas in my car. anyway today it happened again, it happened once on freeway, once at va hospital once when i went to grocery store, and many times just when im getting ready to leave the house for the day. each time i honestly believe that the mechanics at pep boys SUPPOSEDLY fixed my problem it was just coincidental that the car happened to start at that time cuz thats what it does, i kinda think cuz im a FEMALE their jackin me around, duh!!! but please help me thank you very much...tina
