Dear Sir
I am the owner of a 1988 lincoln executive town carwith 80 000 miles
and it makes 25 miles per galon on highway and less than 12 miles per galon in town
It seems to me that it is something unusual at such a low mileage my car burns oil almost a quarter galon per 1000 miles
please let me know if I can do anything to corect this
                                        Thanks

Lincoln town car( executive ) 4,7 with 80 000 miles makes 24 miles per galon on hwy and les than 12 miles per galon in town
It burns 1 quarter of oil in 1000 miles
It is anything to do to reduce gas consumption and oil burning to more favorable figures
