i have a 1996 lincoln continental and the turn signals ...

i have a 1996 lincoln continental and the turn signals and emergency flashers stopped working can you tell me where the turn signal flasher is on this can so i can replace the fuse.   thank you, susan mansfield

There is no flasher unit on this car. It goes through a lighting control module.

  • Power is supplied to the multi-function switch through instrument panel fuse 3 (10A). This fuse is hot in RUN.
  • If the fues is ok,you will need to take it to the dealer and they will need to hook up a scan tool to check for codes in the lighting control module. It still is possible that the multifunction switch is bad which is the turn signalswitch.
