I have a 1999 Lincoln Navigator. I have been told (one of those rumors that get around) that the anti-theft device which should have been installed in the rear doors was left out, and that a thief can break the glass in a rear window, unlock it, then steal whatever he can find. If I lower the rear window, lock the car and remove the key, then unlock the rear window by hand, no alarm sounds. The local folks don't seem to know: is this vehicle equipped with an alarm which should sound when a window is broken?
