how do i get the rear window into a 1988 lincoln town car???

im trying to put a rear window into my lincoln but i can not figure out how to get it to fit into the space i need it to im wondering if i have to take off my half vinal top to do so and if i do how do i get the top off???

puting it in throgh the inside and outside spaces
