When you turn the key are you gettong battery voltage at the starter?

no volts at starter solenoid, because the wire feeding the ignition sw. is dead the wire from ignition sw. to the starter solenoid is fine if I hot wire it from fuse box the starter works.Wherever this wire comes from is the culprit.

Yes I checked all fuses. When I energize the dead wire + start the car everything is fine, but if I disconnect the jumper wire the engine keeps running but, I lose the heater, airbag compressor + the charging system.

You need to trace the wiring for the ignition switch and find the short in the circuit. If your not getting any power to the switch it has to be going somewhere. Start at the swiotch and work backwards to the power source.

kat. When I trace back, the wire disappears into many big clusters of wiring harnesses all wrapped up. Please tell me where this feed wire orginates from instead of ripping out my whole electrical wiring system. Thanks
