1990 Lincoln the heating system will not operate! We have replaced everything there is to replace in the system but it still blows cold air? Is there a pannel or some kind of shutter keeping the heat blocked? Thanks, Richard in Pekin

You most likely have a bad bk=lend door motor. The door that controls temperature is operated by an electric motor and it's probably stuck in one position.

It's quite a job to change. The entire dash has to be removed to access it. Here's what it looks like.
