My 2002 Lexus RX300 seemed to roll back(reverse) when I braked at a stoplight. I pumped the brake and the vehicle came to a total stop like it should have. It had happened once before on a hill and I actually thought I was imagining it. This time my daughter was in the car with me and confirmed. What could be going on?

It sounds like your master cylinder is bleeding down and will need replaced. You can do it your self if you are careful bench bleeding it and then bleeding it at the lines at the master cylinder. If you don't do it correctly some air may enter the abs system.Make sure you have the key off during all bleeding so the abs system doesn't power up and possibly self test.
