1997 Kia Sephia - no power from brand new battery - no horn, no lights,no start. Any idea?

Make sure the connections are clean, both battery posts and terminals. Check the ground cable where it mounts to either the engine block or chassis. Make sure these connections are all tight and clean. Look at the positive battery cable and look for any type of inline fuse that may be defective. Some of these cars use safety inline fuses or circuit breakers. Check all the fuses in the fuse-panel as well.
