Hello. Why do you think it's smart? It's actually written on most underhood decals exactly that way.If you are not happy about it,I can't help you there. That is the answer to the question you asked. There are no adjustments possible. What is the problem you are experiencing?

no it was not helpful. i would like a refund on my deposit.Idid not ask about an adjustment if you read the question again it said how would you set the timing. I found about it in a manuel. So if you call yourself a auto tech. you should go back to school and pay more attention this time so learn something. It was not under the hood that there was no adjustment. What it says that it should not need it.

That 99 Kia has a direct ignition system. You CANNOT adjust the timing at all.PERIOD!!!! What manual are you looking at?

There is one way you can move the timing. You can move the timing belt on the cam one or two teeth, but then you'll bend your intake and exhaust valves.

Good Luck! You have many years of expensive auto repairs ahead of you if you are going to attempt repairs on something you know nothing about and refuse to understand or learn about. You will only cause more damage than repair. If you are having a power issue or sputter or something.Just post a question related to that. A hard head will only leave you broke and walking.
