My 2001 Kia Sportage loses power when going up a hill,other then that,nothing,no noises at all, why is this happening?

Could be a few things, check the exhaust for the converter stopping up, fuel filter clogged, air filter clogged. fuel pump pressure lower than specs may need a tune up. However it may have codes stored in the pcm I suggest having them read by a dealer or a shop. Hope this helps. Please click accept for me. ThanksImages available only to Customers.
