You will need to have the system evacuated of freon before you start. It is not legal to just blow the freon off into the atmosphere. Then follow the instructions below that are right out of the service manual. When you are done, you will need to have the system evacuated (put into a vacuum) and then recharged. Thanks

1.Remove the drive belt after loosening the tension pulley.
2.Discharge the refrigerant.
3.Remove the discharge and suction hoses.
4.Remove the compressor.

5.Installation is the reverse of removal.

Tightening torque20-30 N·m(2.0~3.0 kg-m, 14-21 Ib-ft)

Adjustment
1.Loosen the pulley bolt A.
2.Turn the adjusting bolt B and adjust the deflection of the drive belt to the within specification.
BeltDeflection: When applying moderate pressure 98N (10kg, 22Ib)
New8~9 (0.31~0.35 in)
Old9~10 (0.35 ~0.39 in)

3.Tighten the pulley bolt A.
