I have a 2001 Jaguar XKR and would like to install a larger pulley on the supercharger. It would provide 1.5 pounds more of boast. Also I would like to install a Borla cat back exhaust system along with a new cold air intake. What types of problems would I encounter? Will the larger pulley on the superchager shorten the engine or supercharger life? The car has 40,000 miles on it.

hello!!! the cold air intake and cat back system are definately going to make a difference by themselves!! i dont think that the pulley is a wise choice though. this additional pressure will be greatly magnified once the air gets into the cylinders and heats up(it will expand) this could destroy rings very quickly (not to mention the detonation possibilities) the part i would choose instead of the pulley would be a bigger throttle body.
