I have a 2wd 1994 Isuzu Rodeo with power assisted locks. I can't get the drivers lock to unlock by pulling on the lock arm. Sometimes it sticks for days and sometimes it works fine for months, what could the problem be?

1994 Isuzu Rodeo V6

Already Tried:
The key lock has fallen inside the door on the driver side so I do know I have to have the whole lock assembly replaced but it should still open from the inside right?
