Brake Noise

My 1997 Infiniti I30t makes a slight grinding,humming, vibration sound when in idle. I can feel the vibration in the brake pedal. I had this problem last summer which seemed to disappear once it became cold. The noise started again a few weeks ago and at the same time my breaks started to go. I thought the noise problem would go away when I had the brakes replaced but it hasn't. Do you think this can be a problem with the ABS or do you think it is something totally unrelated to the brakes?

As a rule of thumb brakes do not make noise when the vehicle is not in motion.

Please elaborate on your problem.
