Hi there! The flashing light indicates a problem within the airbag system.Even if you pull the fuse the light will continue to flash. The only real way to solve the problem is to have the light scanned and see where the problem is.Once you know what is causing the problem, you may be able to repair it yourelf to save a few bucks. There are so many possabilities, you will actually save money by having the light scanned.Sorry.Hope this helps! Thanks

When you say get the light scanned, what does that mean? I assume that you are talking about some type of diagnostic that a mechanic would perform. If that is it, then I need to go to the dealer or a mechanic, correct?

Yes,the airbag light is just like the check engine light. The airbag computer is letting you know the system has a problem.A regular shop should be able to read the codes for you with a scan tool.
