I HAVE A 2001 HYUNDAI SANTE FE AND WHEN IM DRIVING IT WILL OUT OF THE BLUE BUCK LIKE IT IS SLIPPING OUT OF GEAR AND IT HAPPENS NO MATTER HOW FAST IM GOING AND AS SOON AS IT HAPPENS THE ENGINE LIGHT WILL COME ON. THE WHOLE TIME THE CAR WILL CONTINUE TO SHIFT INTO DIFFERENT GEARS FINE. THE NEXT DAY THE ENGINE LIGHT WILL NO LONGER BE LIT. CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE.

Hello

First thing to do is have the computer scanned for codes. The check engine light comes on when it sees a problem. You can go to one of the major auto parts stores and they will scan for free.Call first to see if free (Autozone Advance O'Reilly etc)
