I have a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe. Just noticed that the tail lights and rear gate/brake light are on, even though the car has been off for hours, lights are switched off, etc. I don''t want to wake up to a dead battery. Any idea what''s causing this or what to do about it?

Hi there,

You most likely have a bad brake lamp switch. They go bad pretty often on these cars.

The good news is that it is cheap and easy to replace.
