I have a 1997 gmc sub, it started leaking coolant and so we did a pressure test and found that the heater core was cloggeg, and then we flushed the radiator and replaced it with green coolant. Now it is leaking internally and I am having to fill the radiator at least every two weeks for the last month. There is no foan in the oil that I can see. I would just like to pin point the porblem so as to avoid more costly problems. can you help.

Hello

That vehicle has some extra coolant lines that run along the or close to the exhaust manifold. It is possible, and I repeat "possible" that there could be a "pin" hole in that "steel coupling" and spraying on the exhaust and vaporizing. This theory would apply to any of the other hoses or connections within the coolant system. Have the system pressure checked again and tell them to holes the pressure at 18 lbs. for at least 10 minutes. If there is a pin hole it will show up. If the leak is internal it should show through the exhaust or mix with the oil. Take your time and look this over very carefully before going through the added expense.

Good Luck!

Dan
