Have to replace the water pump and need to loosen the tension on the belt.

1988 GMC Jimmy 2.8

Already Tried:
Haven't tried yet. No obvious way to loosen the tension.

If you look at the pictures below and determine which one is like your belt then find number 26 on your vehicle. The os the belt tensioner. You need to get a ratchet on this tensioner and move it to release belt tension. It is spring loaded, but usually moves pretty easy. If you need more help let me know.
