Leak in my 1992 GMC Yukon pit cock

The drain plug failed. ANd I have tried 3 different types of plugs and it is still leaking. I went to the parts store and the replacement part will not fit into the hole.

Already Tried:
Stop leak, brass plugs with pipe tape.
