I am trying to replace the water pump on my 1997 GMC Jimmy Vortec V-6. What steps should I take in getting the clutch fan off of the vehicle? It is very difficult to get something to hold the water pump pulley and then turn the fan shaft to screw it off. What am I doing wrong?
