Sorry these vehicles will get poor milage. I have a tahoe 4WD 100.00 in gas last week! But you can make sure your tire pressureis correct this has a big effect on fuel milage and is the most over looked condition.

Reply to Danny's Post: I keep track of my mileage, It droped from around 13.5 mpg to 10 mpg. I check all fluids and tire pressure regularly. I have also changed the plugs, wires, cleaned the air filter(K&N). My driving style has been the same.

Have you had the Power train control module checked for updates by your dealer? this may help, but fuel mileage is one thing we can not effect a lot unless there is an update or codes stored ( they can check this for you also) the fuel air mixture is controlled by the computer and we cant adjust that unless there is a problem. A few other things that can effect your mileage are Larger tires, Eng wear, the wrong oil in it or over full of oil. (drags crankshaft). You may want to check these things if you don't see anything have the dealer check it for updates and codes. Images available only to Customers.
