Fuel pressure sounds to be the problem there. After the car stops running, there is suppose to be pressure in the rail. Do you still have a way to check fuel pressure? Could you please do that just to humor me. Also, notie how long it takes to drop after the car is not running.

Check the throttle position sensor for the following voltage.
Reference (Volts-DC) 4.8 - 5.2
Ground Level (Volts-DC) 0 - 0.05
Closed Throttle (Volts-DC) 0.36 - 0.96
Wide Open Throttle (Volts-DC) 4.5 - 5.2
GM is lurky on specifications on these injectors. GM says to be around 12 ohms +/- 1ohm. However, at the same time, they say to NOT follow ohm specifications for replacement. So, I suspect your injectors are sticking open, but I would like to investigate a few other possibilities. I'm sorry about all these questions. However, I would rather test every comonent on the car rather than replace one that will not fix your problem. So, please be patient wih me. Let me know what you find.
