Malibu brake lights

The brake lights in my 2000 GM Malibu just are out. There is no warning indication on the dash. Is this a light bulb problem or a system/computer/bigger problem?

 Is the high 3 rd light working? If so, you may have a problem with the turn signal switch. If it's not working, then your problem may be a fuse or the brake light switch. Always check the bulbs first but it's unlikely you lost all at once.
