And these are just the brake issues that are reported.

The good news is that the vehicle should still be under warranty and if you have any trouble with the dealer service dept. you should contact the GM hotline in the back of your owner manual to report it.

What kinds of issues are you experiencing with yours?

I have had my rotors, and drums replaced or repaired twice, yet I still feel qrinding noise when I apply the brakes. I am scared as to what would happen in an emergency! This is a new car, that I drive only locally. Once I slided right through a stop sign. I had to turn my car to the right to avoid an accident.I have had antilock brakes on all my cars, this is the second one to present a problem.

The grinding noise is most likely from glazed brake pads or poorly reconditioned or low grade pads or rotors. Was this work done at the dealer or some aftermarket repair facility? It sounds like you've just been the victim of poor workmanship or low quality parts were used for repairs.Glazing from overheated pads will also cause a grinding noise. The term glazing means that the pads get very hot and form a hard glazed surface which cannot dicipate heat or stop the vehicle. It's like rubbing 2 pieces of metal together.Anti-lock brakes are difficult to get used to because they pulsate to allow you to steer out of a situation under heavy braking. It's worse on wet roads. They can be a lifesaver though. The only thing you can do is to keep taking the vehicle back to where you had the work done and make them fix it.If you have no success with that, take it somewhere else and if anything wrong is found, keep a record of it and call the Better Business beareau or proceed in civil court. At any rate, the issues you are experiencing have little or nothing to do with the manufacturer outside of the TSB's I provided for you in my other post. Please click my accept button if this answers your question.Thanx Customer (name blocked for privacy) and good luck with your repairs.
