whats up with my 2002 trailblazer front windshield ...

whats up with my 2002 trailblazer front windshield wipers? The blades have been replaced twice (two diff. brands) and they still skip badly on the down stroke, any ideas?

Optional Information:
2002 Chevrolet trailblazer L6

Already Tried:
replacing the blades, adjusting the angle, dealer is no help

I have seen this before with aftermarket blades.The only thing you can try other than GM blades is cleaning the winshield and the rubber on the blades with alcohol or a strong washer solvent.
