Reply to Dan's Post: BOTH SITTING OR GOING DOWN THE ROAD. BEFORE I REPLACED THE WATER PUMP IT WAS OVERHEATING EVEN WITHOUT THE THERMOSTAT IN. THE WATER PUMP,I THOUGHT, FIXED THE PROBLEM BUT NOW TWO WEEKS LATER ITS OVERHEATING AGAIN.

WITH DEX COOL YOU NEED TO FLUSH COOLING SYST WITH ACID GM PART NUMBER 12346500 ITS NOT UNCOMMON TO HAVE INTAKE GASKET LEAKING ALSO

IT CAN PUSH IT INTO THE OIL ALSO BUT I WOULD FLUSH IT WITH THE GM FLUSH IF YOU HAVE GOOD HEAT IS IT ACTUALY BOILING OVER OR JUST SHOWING HOT ON GUAGE? RAD CAP HOLDING GOOD PRESSURE? IF YOU HAVE HEAT YOU HAVE CIRCULATION I HAVE SEEN A COUPLE HEADGASKETS ON THESE BUT USUALLY AFTER SOMEONE MESSED WITH THTEM
