I have a 1998 Chevy Geo Metro. The air conditioning works well with one exception. When I first turn it on it makes a squealing sound. It is loud enough to turn heads as I drive down the street. It is not constant and comes and goes. The system cools the car just fine except for this annoying noise. It almost sounds to me like the sound maybe coming from a belt of some kind. Any ideas to what is causing it and how to fix it? Thank you for your help.
