I have a 92 Geo Metro - it starts and runs fine - allowing the car to warm up to the normal range the idle drops and the car stalls - the engine will only ocassionally pop during the attempted restart - I smell gas after the car sets for 10 to 15 minutes it starts right up ...
and the cycle repeats - so far I have changed out or replaced MAP 02 TS plugs and coil
   it throws no codes ....
