I have a 1992 Toyota Camry with a problem in the right rear power window. The window can be rolled down, but not up, from the switch on the door, but is totally unresponsive to the master control on the driver's door. I tested the window motor itself, and it goes both down and up when I disconnect the wiring and apply 12V directly. I also removed the rocker switch and tried it on another door window, and it worked fine. In the absence of a wiring diagram, I tried to map and test (for way too long) the wires coming out of the master control. It appears that the two wires headed for the window that doesn't work behave similarly to those headed for the left rear window, which does work. So I now wonder if there is a faulty junction somewhere in the wiring between the master control and the right rear door. I played with the connectors in the junction box near the hood release (left of the driver's legs) but this did not help. Are there other junction points I should check? If there is a way to jump some of the wires in either the master control or the switch on the door, so that just one of the two switches works, I'd be happy with that. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
