automatic hubs locking and causing a noise

i have a 91 chevy suburban 4 wheel drive. the hubs are automatic locking and the passenger side hub keeps locking causing a very bad noise under the truck. i can stop and put the truck in four wheel drive and it will be okay until i stop and put it in park, then it locks back into four wheel drive on the passenger side
