need repair book or repair diagram of fuel/air system

no one wants to fix the "tampers" (Disconnected Vacuume lines, pcv sys, & fuel evaporation control sys) on my propane step-van, 1 ton so i want 2 fix it myself. it's a chevy 1981 & i need the manual so i know which PART to ask for at the store.

You're not kidding when you say "whole different animal"!!! i've gotten so many refusals to work on it that it's blowing my mind!!! So I really appreciate your help. I will take a look at it this week when I get a chance. I'll compare to see if it matches. ....& no it didn't fail smog since it runs on propane(i'll double check to be sure). It was the visual inspection part. They saw the disconnected parts & I beleive that's what made it fail. People mess with 02 system to get better performance & since they tampered with the emissions system the disconnections are called "tampers". (i'm learning this stuff as i go!) I don't know why they were disconnected though....I inherited this vehicle from my father. uggggh! what a pain!

Hi! Thank you for your responses. I have not had a chance to look underneath my step-van yet. I will use the diagrams that you sent & I did find out that the only reason that it failed was because of the missing/disconnected parts. In any case I'm sure it wil help. Thanks again.
