HOW TO REPAIR FUEL PUMP ON 1996 FORD EXPLORER

SOMETIMES WHEN WE START OUR TRUCK IT WONT TURN OVER. WE WERE UNHOOKING THE BATTERY AND FOR A WHILE IT SEEMED TO WORK. TRIED TO GET A JUMP AND WOULDNT WORK STILL. WHAT COULD IT BE AND WHAT CAN WE DO WITH LIMITED FUNDS.
