Mushy brakes. need help

I just changed the front brakes on my 01 kia sephia and had to replace the left caliper. I bled them and the fluid is full. Now I have to press the pedal to the floor to stop. Even then it won’t lock the breaks up. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong?
