brakes acting weird

What would be the problem on a 96 chysler sebring lxi with antilock brakes when you just put on new brakes but as you come to a stop on the driver side it makes a clanking noise, but only as you are coming to a stop. Not going down the straight way or around a curve.

  is the noise coming from the front or the rear and what brakes did you change front or rear or both?  Please reply soon as I really need the 150$ you are offering for an answer.
