If i trade in a car thats been in an accident, and dont tell the dealership that it was. Can they do anything about it after paperwork is signed?

 No, not under that circumstance. Most laws are geared toward retail sales and a trade-in is a wholesale transaction and not subject to retail regulations. You will have to sign an odometer statement and can be prosecuted for any fraud there. That's all.
