Is the blower driven by the computer or some other module or relay.

I have a 1994 dodge shadow that the heater blower does not work.If I hard wire the blower it does work.It appears to me that the blower is being driven through the computer or something is that true?There is a module on the passenger door that I thought was what I was looking for so I tried one I got from a junkyard and that did not fix it.
I tried all the fuses and they are ok.I un hooked the blower and check for continunity back to the computer up front in the engine compartment and it looks like that is were it goes.
