96 S-10 Blazer Vortec 4.3 FI just died suddenly while driving would not jump start. Replaced battery. Had coil and ECM tested OK. Replaced timing set 6 mos. earlier. Trys to start. Replaced fuel filter. Fuse? Relay? Air in system? What?

The distributor was replaced 2 yrs ago. This summer new timing set, cap, rotor, plugs & wires. It shoots fuel out of the fuel release valve on the rail. Do not have access to a pressure tester. Sprayed ether in the intake. Backfired so hard & loud, truck shook & neighbors came out to see what blew up. Will not start.

Reply to rick's Post: I will try again to see if I can find a loaner pressure tester.
