Question

Cooling Fan running after engine is off

Sent to Car Experts October 21, 2006 1:47 a.m.

I have a 97 BMW M3 and after turning off the engine, what I assume to be a cooling fan is running. The fan is located between the grill and the radiator. Why is it still running after the engine being off for 2+ hours? What do I need to do to make it stop?

Optional Information:

REPLIED Check Mark

the fan relay is probably stuck in the on position , replace the fan relay first .
