why is oil leaving tail pipe?

I have a 1982 sedan deville that has endured a healthy engine swap of a bad 4100 to a good 1978 425 c.u.- 4 barrel. anyway after having the motor in for a few years it ran hot and now oil is leaving out of tail pipie.
