Honda CRX HF how the vacuum controls function on the carburetor
Sent to Car Experts October 18 12:19 AM

I am a mechanic who drives an 86 CRX HF (high fuel) car. I cannot find technical information that deals with the myriad of vacuum control solenoids, switches and vacuum valves that are inside the two black control boxes. Would you be able to help me find that information?
Thank you.
Rob

Optional Information:
1986 Honda CRX HF 1500

Already Tried:
Test driving with engine at operating temp and a vacuum gauge hooked to different supply lines to the carburetor. But these readings do not tell me the designed function of when and how the vacuum signals are controlled.

Reply to 32dmadden's Post: Mr. Madden, Thank you for your reply. However the vacuum hose and solenoid control schematics were blurred beyond legibility. Secondly, not just the schematic but what governs the operation of the controls. I need to know when and how these function.
Can you offer information on that? Since I have not used this service before I did not mention this is a manual transmission equipped with CA. emission. Also unique to this car is a 5 wire oxygen sensor that I would also like to find out more about.

Basicly you need a chapter of information on driveblity. The problem I have on this site is when I send a diagram my file size is limited to 250KB. By the time the files are compressed to this size the quality goes way down. Try going to Alldata online or www. eautorepair.com they have manuals online for your vehicle. You can get access for a week, month or year for one vehicle only. It's like $10 are a little more for the week. Check that out if you would like me to send everything I can do it E-mail. The files may be clearer. I'll be waiting to hear from you.
