My 1997 chevrolet Blazer does not start randomly. It acts like the fuel pump is not working. Where is the fuel pump located and how can I check to see if it is working properly?

Hi!
The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank on your vehicle. The only way to test for a failing fuel pump is to get a fuel pressure reading when the problem is happening. There is a fuel pressure test port located on the fuel rail on the motor. You will have to connect a gauge to this spot under the hood.
You may also have an intermittant fuel pump relay. This is located inside the vehicle, under the driver's side of the dash.
