I have a 1998 Canadian made chevy cheyenne I need to know how to disable the anti theft system after unhooking the battery the security light flashes and should be solid how do I tell the truck it's not being stolen???      Thanks     Dave

Try turning the key on and leaving it there for ten minutes. Turn it off and then back on for ten minutes. Do this one more time and the security system should be reset. Let me know what happens after you do this.
