Question

Crank but no spark

Sent to Car Experts October 13, 2006 2:19 p.m.

Hi, I have a 1997 Ford Ranger 3.0...My initial problem is that the truck would stall after it has been driven a few miles...this is an intermittent problem...I would wait a few minutes and then it would start again...I had the Fuel pump and filter replaced and the problem is still exist. Now the mechanic replaced a part in the fuel pump area and now the truck don't have any spark...do you know what else could be the problem...I was thinking maybe it is some kind of sensor in the distributor, that is shutting the fuel down.

Pleas help;'
