I own a blazer suv 2002. It isnot getting oil up to lifters everytime I start it . after idaling a few minutes it will get oil and lifters quite down. its been a speractic problem.

There is a check valve in most quality oil filters to hold the oil in place for start-ups. Some don't have the check valve and others that do may fail in time. Change the filter to a well known quality filter and see if that solves the problem.
