can you locate shipper/transporter to ship pick-up bed for one ton dually from within 100 mies of Van Nyus CA to within 250 miles of Bay St Louis MS for around 400 dollars    so much for answers

it is a full length pick-up bed with fenders for dually still attached that i purchased and trying to ship low budget for around 300 dollars

The reason your not getting a lot of advice because the price is low. I'll give you some good advice. Contact any Automotive Auctioneers in your area, ask for any of the local transporters used for delivering vehicles. These people normally have large haulers and sometimes have room for another vehicle. They work for less than most other hauling companies. Just use a search engine on the computer to locate someone in your area.

my truck is a 2005 dodge dually quad cab that i purchased because of hurricane catrina my home and most of our families homes were destroyed leaving properties a mess. I worked my truck hard and roads were no better to it . I love my truck and now want to restore it better than ever and wish to stretch the truck {even as big as it is}to add a ft to the cab and two ft to the bed Being a fairly new truck salvage parts are hard to come by and very expensive I am on very low budget and found a truck bed on ebay same as mine but it is in california and Im in mississippi I have had prices qouted for shipment over 2000 dollars. On my budget hahaha no way If anyone could help me find a way to get my bed to MI I would be forever gratefull

Reply to Dan's Post: I have tried that route as my brother inlaw until last year owned a peterbuilt car carry it is a tough business as you dont get paid untill deliverie and many are slow to pay or do not pay at all thus you have to charge more to overcome losses

It's going to be hard to find anyone willing to haul at this rate. You may want to consider U-haul with a trailer hitch and do it yourself.

Reply to Dan's Post: driving my truck to califonia my trailer behind at 24 miles per gal[this means not exceeding 58 miles per hour]food stops two motel stops going one coming home would cost me around 2200 dollars trucking industrysd often have to return trucks empty or half loaded discounting rates for those trucks are common getting a little is better than none
