Reply to Gene's Post: The turbo was replaced on September 6th, and there are no modifications to the drive train. Fuel Control Module was changed in August, along with the wiring harness. This is a stock truck with 153000 km on it. The Ford warranty runs out in another 7000 km so I would like to know that the problem is fixed before the deadline. I know if I keep the fixing the repairs under warranty, I won't have to pay for the repairs, but would still like the problem fixed permanently.

That is a good VIN number but not for a 2003 it says it is older than 10 years.

Ok,heres the deal, when they repaired your truck last, it was becuase the turbo was overboosting, blowing the cac tube off. Ford has mandated a new proceedure for us to remove the turbo, disassemble it and clean it.I for one dont believe this is an efficient repair and it is most likely still causing an overboost issue. I would bring it back to the dealer and have them perform a boost test to see if it is indeed overboosting and install a new turbocharger.

Very good, keep me posted on the results, they should put a new turbo on if the boost test fails.
