Question

knock sensor

Sent to Car Experts September 25, 2006 9:59 p.m.

Trying to locate knock sensor and connector on a 1995 toyota 4runner sr5 v-6
Computer code refers to open crt for knock sensor.
Had asked sources, one said it was located under the intake and the connector
under the throttle body. the other says at rear of engine, driver side at top. I don't want to pull the manifold if it not warrented, but I havn't seen any sensors resembling the knock sensor at the rear of the engine either. Any further tips before I pull the intake?
